WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST TRUSTEE BRIAN LANG, who recently got elected to fill the unexpired 2 year term of outgoing Trustee Kevin Larson, who served for a few years and moved to the Island for work. So long Kevin & welcome Brian !!

The 2023 TOLL BILLS are currently being prepared and will be sent out in the first week of May.

December 1, 2020: A big welcome to Paul Oaks who started with the District on November 23, 2020 as a Water System Operator. Paul joins our team with many years experience as a Level II operator and will be a great asset to the District.


June 5, 2020: Trustees and staff welcome Markus Snair, a Grade 11 Student who will be performing a variety of duties for the District this summer, including regularly patrolling the District for watering violations, assisting staff with operational duties, maintenance and clean-up of District sites, and other duties. Markus will be on staff until the end of August, so if you see him out and about feel free to say hello!

OUR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, APRIL 27TH, 2020 HAS BEEN DEFERRED UNTIL THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT DEEMS IT SAFE TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETINGS AGAIN. WE WILL NOTIFY THE RATEPAYERS IN ADVANCE OF A NEW DATE. THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2019 WILL BE AVAILABLE ONCE THE ANNUAL AUDIT IS COMPLETE.

The 2020 Domestic Tax and Commercial Toll Billing has been mailed out to the property owners on May 8th, 2020.

The DUE DATE for payment is 4:00 PM on Monday, June 8th, 2020. If you do not receive your bill, please contact the District office at 250-497-5407.

We welcome Taylor Dean, hired as the District Manager, replacing Kevin Huey, who retired after 27 years of service to the District. See the article written in the January issue of Skaha News here…

April 15, 2018: 

IRRIGATION SEASON officially begins on APRIL 15TH, 2018:  Users are reminded that although the weather and ground has been very wet, conservation measures are always in effect and can be found under the Water Info page.  We appreciate your co-operation and wish everyone an enjoyable spring and summer. 

September 21, 2018: 

IRRIGATION SEASON ENDS ON OCTOBER 15TH. Please ensure all irrigation connections and lines are shut-off and blown out to avoid freezing.  Watering of outside lawns and gardens is NOT permitted after this date.

The District welcomes Jerrod Poehnell, who is a Water Engineering Technology student at Okanagan College to assist the District with the implementation of the new GIS mapping of the District works. He will also be monitoring the District's Water Conservation Program throughout the summer, as well as other District functions.
